Authority to Act - Daily Service

Our Daily Service is a premium service that offers real time administration of your SMSF by taking over many of the administrative functions for the Trustee. To enable Supercorp to efficiently and effectively provide this service and update your SMSF data, we may require your authority for us to act on your behalf.

What does this authority permit Supercorp to do?

This authority allows Supercorp to:

  • Request information from third parties e.g. from your investment advisor or insurance provider
  • To update your SMSF investments with address details
  • To update your SMSF investments with bank account details for deposits
  • To update your SMSF investments with your SMSF TFN details.
  • Speak with your accountant regarding matters such as contribution allocation etc.

What does this authority not permit Supercorp to do?

This authority does not permit Supercorp to purchase or dispose of investments on your behalf

What does this authority not permit?

If we are not provided with this authority then Supercorp will be restricted in service that we can provide to you as we will not be able to:

  • Request information on your behalf to ensure that your accounts are updated in a timely and efficient manner and accordingly your SMSF details on our website may not be fully up to date and there may be delays in completing your end of year accounts
  • Update your investment details

Can I revoke this authority?

Your authority can be revoked at any time by providing us with written notification.

What happens if I don’t agree to give Supercorp this authority?

This authority to act is a core requirement for Supercorp to be able to offer its daily administration service.

If Trustee’s are unwilling to provide Supercorp with this authority we will have to down grade our service offering for your fund to our Annual Service.
